Casino Royale was fantastic! :DD Daniel Craig makes a great Bond, even as his perenially pouting lips put me off. Great body, not so great face. xD Like when there was a closeup of his face (which in the massive cinema we were in, was in fact, quite massive) it was like "No! Too close!!" XD And a couple of wtf moments where I reckon they had to cut a scene; for example when one scene he was ordering champagne and Beluga caviar and the next in a taxi down to Miami Airport. o_O And the groping (too much!) scenes.... blergh. Although Eva Green is absolutely gorgeous. *sigh* But MADS MIKKELSEN. Guh. *drools* So preeetty with his well formed lips and milky white eye which bled. *strokes* xD Anyways, he was a fabulous villain. AND OMG THE TORTURE SCENE. WHICH WAS COMPLETELY GRATUITOUS AND OH SO GAY WITH THE PHALLIC ROPE. AND THIS JUST COMPLETELY SHOWS HOW MUCH MY MIND IS IN THE GUTTER. 8DDD I'm sorry, but did anyone else think watching that scene that it completely sounded like he was fucking? Or rather, being fucked?? Omg I nearly died of laughter. XD I'd say it was a little long though, and some of the conversation was very predictable - as me and Suzy were predicted their next lines xD Ah well, still highly recommended.
BUT, I also finally bought Holding the Man by Timothy Conigrave!!!! :3333 And I've read half of it and X3 it is absolutely beautiful. But I'll write about it when I've finished it. Oh what the heck ~ for you Helen, they acted like your Xavier boys!! 8DD (Funnily enough Tim and John were Xavier boys as well; carrying on a proud tradition I see! XD) Kissing and such in the shelter at Glenferrie Station. *SQUEEEEE*
To sport: and yesterday was the Pre-Season Draft, as well as the Rookie Draft. The Saints picked up 6 rookies and Matthew Clarke in the Pre-Season. I'm at a loss as to why we would take Clarke - seeing as he's 33 years old. I know we're down in the ruck stocks, but come on, a 33 year old?? He's had a great decorated career with Brisbane and Adelaide, but I think we'd be lucky to get 20 games out of him. :S
Also, apparently soy beans are the reason for the 'rise' of homosexuality according to Wingnut Daily - I mean the Christian World Net Daily. *guffaws arse off* Which would make China the faggiest country of all, by this account, seeing as soy beans crop up everywhere in our daily diet; soy milk, soy sauce, tofu, the beans themselves etcetc. Really, I'd like to see this so-called 'research' that proves that by drinking soy milk you're flooding your body with oestrogen. Oh and that it leads to breast cancer. And makes you develop a weak thyroid. And also one of the key reasons for obesity today. Whatever. You grow so used to these 'doctors' with their made up research. If only they didn't have such a huge influence on millions around the world; misleading them with misinformation and promises.
